Dismantling and moving a steel bridge superstructure in Lübeck, Germany

The buyer wants a contractor to dismantle and transport part of the Mühlentorbrücke steel bridge in Lübeck to a site about 100 m away. The steel structure weighs about 550 tonnes. Work includes removing hangers, tie girders and pylons, lifting the remaining superstructure, and moving it on self-propelled modular transporters. The steel is then set down at Mühlentorplatz for corrosion protection renewal. This is one lot of the wider refurbishment.
