New Orkdal health centre construction in Orkanger, Norway

Orkland municipality wants a contractor to build the New Orkdal Health Centre (Helsetunet) at Rømme, in central Orkanger. It replaces the current Fannrem site and includes about 100 resident rooms, an inter-municipal emergency doctor surgery, outpatient services and a home care base. The building must be adaptable until 2050 and beyond. An open public area is also planned. The work is a single lot, run as a collaboration contract in two phases: development, then construction.
